We kicked off our series in Ruth yesterday, and God was extremely gracious to our church. This is a great story with profound implications for our lives today. As I reflected on our first Sunday studying this book together, I was reminded of five very important truths.
1. Having God but nothing else is more than enough.
2. When God grabs our hearts, we cling to Him.
3. God not only knows the pain we are facing, He has a plan for it.
4. No matter how hopeless we feel, hope is real.
5. Our emptiness is erased by the fullness of God.
